Butterfly center Houston Museum of Natural Science, HMNS
We had not been to the butterfly center in a looong time, decided to check it out. Ticket prices had risen from $8 to $15 ! Earlier it used to be humid in the dome to suit the butterflies, now they have cool ac, the poor butterflies were seeking out to sleep on the glass windows for warmth from the sun!!
It's a Rainforest Conservatory, we enter a three-story glass haven with a 50-foot waterfall, home to 1,500 butterflies from global farms. We can experience them fluttering, sipping nectar, and even landing on visitors.
We got these 2 sheets to identify them... needless to say only a few could be seen. The numbers were also much less than on our previous visit
