Greece Trip Report, Day 11: Spectacular Santorini ... AWESOME Oia, Part 1

Day 11, Nov 19, 2018, Monday:

AWESOME OIA: 



 It was an AMAZING day wandering through pretty village of Oia and capped by a lovely sunset... totally unexpected! 


As usual we started the day early. Had some food. 




 Tidied up and set off for an exciting day at Oia.

Parked at the Post office and walked into the village. 




Pebble mosaic... lovely to have the church square to ourselves








Surprisingly real mules came around with tinkling bells when we were looking at the mule statue. I've already covered in the intro how we were alert to sidestep when they were galloping up/down the steps... a little boy had been hurt when his elbow got jostled by a mule.









 We were walking down toward Amoudi Bay. Steps were all numbered.


 Amidst all the beauty, we saw a delivery guy hauling chairs...
