We had seen the ighlights of the central zone. We returned our cycles and drove to Traphong Thong, when we were about to turn for our last sight a motorbike rider came very fast and hit our car on the left side taking down the Mirror . He was on the ground till ambulance came and son was stroking him while I prayed fervently. Thankfully he was not hurt. The cops were very kind. All the formalities took a couple of hours

STAY: 100sqm 2 bed apartment Sukhothai City. The kind owner fixed the rear view left mirror with super glue and taped it. But our car rental insisted on sending a new car for the rest of our trip

SUKHOTHAI 100sqm 2 bed apartment above AJ Grill restaurant Sukhothai City.

Beautiful 2 bedroom apt, very nice owner

The kind owner fixed the rear view left mirror of our car with super glue and taped it. We were able to drive to Teak temple and back while our replacement car was driven from Bangkok to Sukhothai by our car rental. We could have driven in the same car to Chiang Mai where they could replace the car but they insisted the mirror should not fall off

[again our heartfelt gratitude to the cops and to God]

Made some veggies and rice in the microwave the owner had given a big plastic bowl It took a while
