Day 15 Friday Dec 8
Abu Simbel to Luxor AIRPORT, 8.30 pm Flight to Cairo, Uber from Cairo airport to Downtown apts, checkin to 8th floor apt [earlier stay was the 5th floor apt]
CHECKED OUT AT 9AM
we had spent 4 hours from 9-1 the previous day at the temples, also went for the sound and light show and enjoyed the temples in star light.
we did not feel the need to visit again at 6am
Cooking oil had traveled with us.... CRAZY
Left the kitchen better organized than it was originally. Left behind the cooking oil bottle we had purchased in Luxor and used so far.... yes, it had traveled on the car trip from Luxor to Aswan, then Aswan to Elephantine island, then to Abu Simbel
CRAZY!!
Left the butter in the freezer by mistake
Had some food in the morning and packed some to eat at Luxor airport before boarding our flight
CAIRO AIRPORT
Took uber from Cairo airport and got to our apartment, the same building we had stayed when we landed
Cairo downtown sweet home apartment
